Due to circumstances beyond our control, ASPS is unable to host Plastic Surgery The Meeting, Oct. 16-19, in San Francisco as planned. While we are disappointed that we can’t be together in person, ASPS and our partner societies are excited to come together virtually to provide this premier program with both live-online and on-demand educational components and engaging social experiences. The Society is currently preparing the full program of this new Virtual PSTM (vPSTM) and more information regarding this virtual meeting will be provided in the coming weeks.

We have been looking forward to hosting PSTM in San Francisco for some time, but protecting the health and safety of members, exhibitors, staff and guests is our top priority. As ongoing efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19 continue to restrict live events with large gatherings of attendees across the United States and the world, ASPS and plastic surgery will continue to innovate and offer a virtual meeting experience second to none.

Our team has been contingency planning should this impossibility arise, and we are in the process of converting our exhibit offerings and sponsorships. We look to gather the feedback of the Exhibitor Advisory Council on the drafted plan and then reach out to you to discuss next steps. As always, we approach each meeting with you as a partner, and this is no exception.

We will be reaching out over the coming weeks with details about the inaugural Virtual Plastic Surgery The Meeting in October.

Sincerely,
Renee Robbins
